Enseignant(e) – Adaptation scolaire

RESPONSIBILITIES
– Have an understanding of SEL, Restorative practices and positive behavior intervention strategies
– Be able to create targeted support programs for tier one level students who need more support
– Create programs for students to work with in small groups targeted to their SEL needs
– Support with social skill development
– Be able to offer expertise to classroom teachers who may be struggling with behavior management
– Be able to coach teachers in their implementation of SEL curriculum

QUALIFICATIONS
– Legal teaching authorization issued by the MEES (teaching authorization or certificate).
– Bachelor’s degree in preschool / primary education.
– Special Education certificate will be considered an asset.
